Born in North Island, New Zealand in 1971, chef Chris Coubrough has worked in many of the world’s finest kitchens. Now resident in Norfolk, he runs one hotel (The Crown, in Wells-next-the-Sea) and two pubs (The King’s Head in Letheringsett and The Crown Inn in East Rudham) in addition to his television work. Chris was chef/presenter of Coastal Kitchen (ITV Anglia) and has appeared in Eating for Britain (Channel 4) and Market Kitchen (UKTV). He is currently filming a new series in Greenland. Chris's culinary focus is on the best of modern British cuisine, and dishes influenced by the cooking of the Pacific Rim. He lives in Wells-next-the-Sea with his wife Jo, daughter Lily and son Maximus.
