No pay, no news, no reviews
There used to be a review i was personally quite pleased of here.
Unfortunately Simon Nixon pulled the funding on his web site some time ago meaning that the monthly income we were promised no longer materialises.
While I sell my work cheap I don't give it away, and so I reluctantly have withdrawn it from this site.
My new site is doing rather well - it's called http://www.westcoast-usa-roadtrip.com although its hard work building up those content pages.
I have one thing to thank SS for - I would never have set off alone without it failing.
I wish you luck on your travels to Madagascar - it's a fantastic place to visit.
There now follows a bit of blurb as I can't physically delete this review just edit it, and I have to write 200 words... la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la al la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la lala l la la la l

Thank you for telling me about something I knew nothing of. Simonseeks is a learning experience!
I think this guide will be most useful to UK based folk looking for a holiday at home, perhaps to esacape ash clouds and credit crunches. And everything is there to help them plan their outing.
It is very informative and the opening paragraph does a great job of capturing the kind of atmosphere that can be expected at one of the gardens.
Good idea for a guide- I've been to several of these events in our area, usually Sunday afternoons, and they are exactly as you say. From the photos those gardens in Gwent look extremely pretty and I would certainly enjoy testing out your hotel recommendations. For the record the same kind of thing goes on for the Red Cross- www.redcross.org.uk
Johanna - many thanks for your helpful link to the Red Cross; their scheme is new to me. There are a whole host of new gardens for me to hunt down!
Thanks for taking time out to read my article.
Paul
Paul,
For any writers on Simonseeks looking to see how best to put the perfect amount of detail into their guides this would be a perfect example. Everything that you mention here is given full contact information (and the postcodes are very handy for those of us who prefer satnavs to A-Z maps!) and prices.
Obviously this is something of a niche guide, but that shouldn't stop people from wanting to read it and hopefully clicking through for further information on the places mentioned by you. The only niggle is that there are a couple of typos - including missed spaces and some rogue asteriskes - but otherwise this is a hugely enjoyable and excellent guide.
Chris - thank you for your comments.
It's true - I am something of a lazy writer, and my keyboard sometimes sticks a little so errors creep into my work. I've hopefully tidied up the worst of them, but I won't take "credit" for the couple of asterisks in the link to the hotel - they seem to be a special addition added by simonseeks!
I appreciate your taking time out to read the piece.
Paul
