Expert review of Chinatown

Bustling Shopping and Restaurant District

One of the city's most colourful corners, Chinatown is just half a block from the main street stores of Queen West and is full of clothes, food, home wares and, of course, the city's hottest Asian restaurants. It's a good place for a saunter and a snack - grab a sweet bean curd pastry, pork bun or strong Vietnamese coffee - before retiring from the bustle. Kensington Market starts a clock to the west and there's a hidden wee restaurant strip on the eastern fringes of Chinatown - on Baldwin Street.
