Best for Chilling out - Expert review of The Beach

Toronto's top beach

The city's most popular beach waits at the eastern end of the Queen Streetcar. "The Beach" is actually three beaches, linked by a boardwalk, and there's no real differentiation between Balmy, Kew and Woodbine beaches. It's more for sunbathing than for swimming in summer, but is great for a stroll in spring and summer too. There are a few wee food shacks at various points along the way - and tons more food option up on Queen.

Expert tips:
There are more picnic tables in the park area to the west of the park.
