Best for Culture - Expert review of Art Gallery of Ontario
Frank Gehry's redesigned Art Gallery of Ontario was completed in 2008 and stands just blocks away from where the star architect grew up. Gehry’s first hometown commission has a gleaming wall of glass that flows the length of an entire city block. The spiral staircase almost outshines the art in the gallery, but don't miss the excellent collection of modern art on the top two floors.
It's $19:50 for regular admission, $16 for seniors and $11 for those under 18. If you're travelling with a group of two adults and two kids, you can save a bit with a family pass ($49). You can save even more on Wednesdays from 6pm-close — it's free entry, but go early, lines can be long.
