Expert review of Monserrate Park

A wild park amongst the pretty palaces of Sintra.

Sintra lives in an elevated altitude and damp micro climate, which allows for all sorts of unique flora to grow - these are best seen at this semi-wild park. A tramp around these gardens will be filled with sightings of Himalayan rhododendrons, dragon trees and lotus flowers. The park centres around another one of Sintra's impossibly pretty palaces around which there are some well-trimmed lawns.

Price advice:

Entry is 3.50 euros, and free for children under 6.
