Expert review of Bullring and Museum

See a bullfight or just see a bit of bullfighting history.

Everything you'd expect from a bullring. Seville's Real Maestranza Bullring, built during the 18th and 19th centuries, is one of the oldest and finest in Spain, with an impressive Baroque facade, and 16th century iron gates. I've never watched a bullfight myself (it's not my cup of tea), but even when it's empty, the yellow circle of the sand under the hot Spanish sun, surrounded by the wall of seating for the spectators, has a unique atmosphere. The Museo de Toros itself includes posters, bulls heads, costumes, including the suits worn by the famous Sevillano matadors Juan Belmonte and Joselito el Gallo, and other memorabilia.
