Expert review of Puerto Portals

The haunt of celebs and royals and the most expensive marina on the island.

You could be forgiven for thinking that a marina has nothing about it but boats. Not so at the Puerto Portals, which is jam-packed with the gin palaces and pleasure cruisers of Europe’s multi-millionaires. Unsurprisingly it has become a playground for the rich and famous, which all makes for good eye-candy.

Expert tips:
Just outside of the marina proper you’ll find Mood, a more down-to-earth haunt for groovy beach and barbecue parties.
Stop for superlative sushi and cocktails at ultra-hip Tahini (Port de Portals 2, 971 676 025).
