Expert review of The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)
Founded in 1928 as a bastion of contemporary art, the MoMA is now housed in a gorgeous new building, designed by famed Japanese architect Yoshio Taniguchi, and brings together some of the most enduring paintings of the last two centuries. Walking from one light-filled gallery to another, you’ll be astonished by the seemingly unending array of superstar work - from 'The Starry Night' by Vincent van Gogh and 'Les Demoiselles d'Avignon' by Pablo Picasso to 'The Persistence of Memory' by Salvador Dalí. After perusing the collections don’t miss the on-site restaurant, The Modern.
Tickets are US$20 for adults and free for children under 16.
