One of the world’s most beautiful walks with a great view to boot.

A monumental undertaking that transfixed the world when it opened in 1883, the Brooklyn Bridge is still a stunning achievement of elegant beauty and steadfast utility today. Walking across the East River from Manhattan to Brooklyn takes you through the towering gothic arches that anchor the bridge and offers postcard views of all of Manhattan, Brooklyn and the New York Harbor, free of charge. Start your walk at Park Row and Centre Street - across from City Hall Park - and walk towards Brooklyn.
