This houses one of Europe's most impressive collections of art and historic artifacts.

Including painting, sculptures and jewellery from across the globe, Gulbenkian's art collection is one of the most comprehensive and impressive in Europe. The epic display includes Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Islamic, Asian and European art. Look out for priceless Hellenic vases, Chinese porcelain and paintings by Rembrandt, Monet and Van Dyck.

Price advice: 

Entry is four euros, and free for children under 12.

Expert tips: 
Free classical concerts are on here every Sunday at noon.
