Expert review of Secret Garden

Lions, dolphins and adorable tiger cubs at the Mirage.

While the Lion Habitat at MGM Grand corners most of the headlines (both good and bad - like the recent attack on a handler), the Secret Garden up at the Mirage keeps plugging away quietly at what it does best - providing a lovely (as lovely as a zoo can be, at least) environment for its lion, tiger and dolphin inmates. Personally, I'm not a fan of zoos, but as they come, this is a decent one, which children will love - and owners Siegfried and Roy put a huge amount of effort into seeing that the animals are treated well.

The most exciting development this year? The August arrival of Mohan and Majestic, sibling white tiger cubs. Catch them before they grow up!

Price advice:

Adults US$15, children 4-12 US$10, under 3s: free.
