Expert review of Qua Baths & Spa

The best retreat from the Strip that's on the Strip.

Sometimes, Vegas can get a little too much. I understand! When you just need to switch off the Strip, but you want to stay on the Strip, there are few places more relaxing than Qua Baths & Spa, in Caesars Palace. The rarefied spa is extremely exclusive - even hotel guests have to pay an entrance fee, and outsiders can only gain entry by booking a treatment - but I promise it's worth it. The Roman-style baths combine saltwater pools, waterfalls, hot and cold rooms (there's even one with snow cascading down from above) the standard saunas and steam rooms and colour therapy baths. There's even a tea sommelier to pair herbal teas with your treatment. If an afternoon here doesn't wash away your troubles, I don't know what will.

Price advice:

It's very pricey - if you're not staying at Caesars, you'll need to book a treatment, and the cheapest massage is US$140 for 50 minutes. To do it on the cheap, waxing services start at $25.

If you're staying at Caesars, a day pass costs $40.
