Expert review of Bodies

A gruesome but interesting look at how the human body functions.

A controversial exhibition showing human bodies in various states of preservation, doing various things, Bodies works on many levels. For the kids, it's a good, clean, informative introduction to science. And for adults on a trip to Vegas (who, let's assume, have imbibed a couple of drinks during their stay), it's a suitably weird experience.

It's not too big (just 13 whole bodies and 60 body parts) but then again, you don't want anything too taxing on a Vegas holiday, and 13 may be as much as you can stomach. And the exhibits manage to be both informative and entertaining. Although the branded incense stick holders you can buy on the way out are slightly weird.

Price advice:

It's pricey: US$31 for adults, US$23 for 4-12s and free for under 4s.

Expert tips:
You might just spy a celeb here - this is where Jesse James and Kat Von D came out as a couple.
