Best for Fun - Expert review of Siam Park
Unmissable family fun in Europe's largest water park.
Tenerife's newest and most extravagant attraction, Siam Park is themed on a Thai village. The rides are spectacular fun and range from a lazy float down the Mai-Thai river, through a dragon spitting rafts of thrill seekers into a watery vortex to the vertical 28 metre drop of the Tower of Power, which I have not had the nerve to try out.
Price advice:
Adults cost 30 euros, and children (3-11 years) 19.50 euros on the gate. Twin tickets for Loro Parque and Siam Park are available for 52 euros for adults and 35 euros for children.
Expert tips:
Many rides are off limits to very small children so if your offspring are under 1.1 metres in height, save your money until they've eaten more greens.
If you want to avoid queues, go on a Sunday.
A free bus runs from Los Cristianos, Las Americas and Costa Adeje.
