Expert review of Malahide Town and Castle

Malahide castle and town offer sea views, history and seafood 30 minutes from Dublin city.

A must do in good weather - Malahide is well worth the 30 minute journey from Dublin. Take the DART rail line, it's a beautiful journey along the coast, with a historical castle and beautiful gardens to explore when you get there, as well as scenic Malahide town with excellent seafood restaurants, cosy cafes and traditional pubs, you'll have plenty to do. Afterwards, stroll down to the seafront for ocean views. In summer months, Malahide is a hive of coastal activity and watersports.
