Best for Families - Expert review of Benidorm beaches
Benidorm spends as much on keeping its beaches clean as some small towns do their streets. There are three main beaches; Levante, which is just over two kilometres long and runs alongside the main British tourist area, which has the main influx of visitors and gets packed during high season; Poiniente, to the south, and at over three kilometres the longest, mainly Spanish, particularly at the southern end where there is usually plenty of room at any time of year, and the tiny Mal Pas, sat in a cove below the old town. They all are superbly sandy and have flown the Blue Flag for quality since it began in 1987.
