A vast science museum, with especially good children’s sections.
A few years ago the science museum was given a dramatic makeover, and now encompasses a number of different spaces, ranging from the Flooded Forest – a square kilometre of Brazilian rainforest, complete with dozens of plants, animals and fish, to the self-explanatory Geological Wall, and the ¡Toca Toca! section, where children are educated on various animals and plants at close quarters. Better yet are the Clik and Flash sections, which explain simple scientific concepts to the under 10s through games and exploration. Don’t miss the wonderful sound telescope outside the building.

3 euros; 2 euros reductions.
Expert tips:
A fun way to get here is to take the train to Avda Tibidabo, then the blue tram up the hill.
