Create your travel guide

Ready to write a story? Then let’s start! There are instructions at each stage to help you complete the form easily, but if this is your first time, we recommend that you read the tips in the column to the right before you begin.

Once you have submitted your guide our editors will look at it as soon as possible and let you know whether or not we can publish it on the site straightaway, or whether any changes or additions might be needed.

Fields marked with a * must be completed. If you don’t fill in these boxes, you won’t be able to submit your article.

Please supply an eye-catching headline. Here's a tip: including the name of your destination in the title will ensure that your guide is returned more prominently in any search results.
The title is limited to 60 characters, remaining: 36
This is where you add the main content of your guide, which should be around 800-1,000 words long. As well as writing general copy about your destination, don't forget to include specific recommendations that will be useful to the reader. Most importantly, you should recommend great places to stay (hotels, B&Bs, campsites, etc) - we'll then provide quick links to these so that readers can book them straight away. It's also a good idea to recommend your favourite restaurants and bars, and tell us what's so great about them. And you could also suggest activities to try (horse-riding, diving, paintball, etc) and places to visit (castles, art galleries, etc). At the moment, we can't provide links to these places, but we're working on it! For all recommendations, please include address, phone and website details.
