How to have a good night out in Brighton
After dark, Brighton really shines. Cosy pubs, snazzy bars, contemporary theatre and a world-class arts festival? The city has all these and more. It’s also a hotbed of emerging musical and comic talent, with venues dotted all over town.
As for clubbing – for some Brightonians, it’s a way of life. It’s no coincidence that Brighton’s favourite local celeb is a DJ (Norman Cook, aka Fatboy Slim). The scene bubbles away seven days a week, every week of the year, but at holiday times, the why-wait-for-the-weekend vibe reaches fever pitch. This is the city where every New Year’s Eve is an all-nighter to remember, and every summer is a summer of love.
