Getting around Puerto de la Cruz - my advice

Getting around by bus

The Titsa bus company (www.titsa.com) run regular services from and to Puerto from everywhere on the island.

Buses can be direct (directo) routes which will take you from Puerto all the way to destinations like Playa de Las Américas and Los Cristianos (bus number 343) and Los Gigantes (bus number 325), or express (sin parada) which do the journey in the fastest times.

Frequent services connect Puerto to the capital city of Santa Cruz - it's as little as 40 minutes on the 103 sin parada service.

A free tourist train runs every 20 minutes from the centre of town (outside the Las Vegas Hotel) to Loro Parque (Loro Park).

Getting around by taxi

The main taxi rank is on Plaza Charco with secondary ranks alongside the Correos (post office) and at the Martiánez end of Avenida Generalisimo.

After midnight the Plaza Charco taxis move to Avenida Generalisimo.
