Expert review of Ic-Cima
Watch the sun set over the Med eating freshly-prepared regional dishes. I much prefer this place to the more touristy restaurant across the road, but it doesn’t appear in most guidebooks – it does in mine!
There is beautifully presented Italian and Maltese food – pastas, steaks, fresh fish…
The decor is bright blue, yellow and white. The inside conservatory-style restaurant opens onto the roof terrace which is definitely the place to be in summer.
It's pleasant and reasonably efficient – not that it matters if you have a table by the terrace balustrade. I’d happily sit here all evening.
It's at the top of the hill on the south side of Xlendi Bay looking out over the bay and the open sea. There are fabulous views – and usually a cooling breeze.
Starters are around 7-8 euros, mains 10-20 euros.
Request the ones at the edge of the terrace – it's the best place to enjoy the fantastic views.
