A friendly setting best for quick eats in Lanzarote.
This is a tapas and Spanish restaurant with an international slant where you can order omelettes and chips along with your oysters and fresh fish. I like it for its key position in the hub of the old town of Puerto del Carmen, with views out to sea.
Food and drink:
The menu is very varied here, offering international dishes as well as Spanish classics.
Ambience:
The terrace is the most interesting place to be, with a bustling atmosphere and views out to sea.
Service:
Waiting staff do a good job here, although I have seen the odd slip up.
Location:
Slap bang in the middle of the old town of the resort, it's right next to the seafront promenade.
Price advice:
It's good value with mains from around 10 euros.
Tables to book:
I would go for the terrace every time, although window seats upstairs are pretty good too.
