It's consistently one of the most popular restaurants in the south.
Mamma Rosa's isn't the chapest Italian restaurant on Tenerife but it's undeniably one of the best and is extremely popular with holidaymakers who return to it year after year.
Food and drink:
The food is classic Italian, well prepared and presented. Portions are generous with little discernable difference between the size of starters and the main courses.
Ambience:
The terrace is invariably busy and lively with lots of families and groups of friends. They are predominantly holidaymakers but also a good helping of expat residents.
Service:
The staff are usually attentive and friendly but can be slow at the busiest of times.
Location:
It's alongside the Apartamentos Colon II on a busy road behind the seafront. The leafy terrace and slightly set back position camouflage the traffic and noise.
Price advice:
Starters average at 9.50 euros and main courses come in at around 17/18 euros.
