A buzzing, family-friendly grub-stop with lots of choice.
No need to shush the kids here. All ages are welcome in this busy family restaurant whose menu has something for everyone – and pretty much ‘everyone’ comes.
Food and drink:
There is a large menu, with Mediterranean cuisine plus: lots of pasta dishes and pizzas as well as salads, burgers, other grills and main dishes. It's not gourmet but good quality and plenty of options to appeal to kids as well as adults.
Ambience:
There are wooden tables and an American themed décor. It's lively, noisy even - but in a good way: lots of people of all ages enjoying themselves. There are also large TV screens often showing sports and some outdoor seating on a raised deck just above the street.
Service:
You may have to queue to be seated if you haven’t booked. Once at the table the service is reasonable.
Location:
Urban: The Avenue is in Paceville on the edge of Malta’s main clubbing district. Useful if you are on a night out, but if you are not that way inclined, don’t be put off; the Maltese aren’t. You will find Maltese families here with kids of all ages.
Price advice:
Pizzas cost around 7 euros, burger and chips from 6 euros, and pasta dishes 5-10 euros.
