Expert review of Co.
Part of the new wave of pizza parlors that have come to the city in the last couple of years, I love the combination of adventurous toppings and a trendy space.
This is one of the best thin-crust pizza pies in the city with a wonderful base of perfectly cooked dough and toppings like the 'Popeye', with three cheeses and fresh spinach.
Informal but trendy, the airy space attracts both well-heeled locals and people from other parts of the city on a pizza pilgrimage.
I wouldn’t say the staff are a selling point. They always seem to just be in a rush to take your order.
This stretch of 9th Avenue might not seem particularly fashionable but this area is actually becoming quite chic, hence the owner’s decision to open up shop here.
Smallish pies go for about US$16 each but don’t be surprised if you have to order a few starters too.
This is a no-reservations place, so I always go at off-peak hours to avoid a primetime wait.
