Expert review of Le Bistro D'Alain
Fine French dining in the quiet back streets of Los Cristianos.
Hidden away behind a closed screen by day, this little French Bistro is a firm favourite with those of us who have discovered its delights and, in my opinion, is the best restaurant in Los Cristianos.
Food and drink:
It's classic French cuisine with the eponymous Alain's je ne sais quoi. From quail with pear to classic crêpe suzette, it's all impeccably prepared and presented.
Ambience:
The inside dining room is small and quirky with an informal ambience while the outside terrace is a romantic, candlelit setting.
Service:
The staff are friendly and efficient. With so few covers, it's unusual to be kept waiting even when full.
Location:
It's on an inauspicious back street behind the main promenade of Los Cristianos.
Price advice:
It's surprisingly good value for money, three courses come in at under 30 euros.
