Expert review of Dos Caminos

A trendy, celeb-studded Mexican restaurant in the Palazzo.

You’ll understand why prices are high at this Mexican restaurant when you make it inside – Dos Caminos is one of the trendiest-looking places on the Strip. It’s huge, with a varied menu, and it’s always crowded with both scenesters and celebs. I like it as a place to go with a group of friends.

Food and drink:

Upscale Mexican food. Prices are high, but you’re paying for the atmosphere as much as for the food itself. The standard’s high, too – I can’t get enough of the guacamole, which is mixed directly at the table.

Ambience:

Very trendy, and good for people-watching. Most people tend to dress up, and there are a lot of groups of young people here, too.

Service:

I find the door staff can be a little snobby, but once you’re inside, the servers are very polite.

Location:

In the Palazzo, so pretty central, although it's internal, so there aren't good views.

Price advice:

Mains from US$15.
