A world-class restaurant in the world’s most famous club – welcome to Ibiza!
While the idea of combining nightclubs and food may not really strike a chord with many people, in typical Pacha style, the global mega-brand has managed to pull it off with sophistication and style. The quality of the food is second to none, and I love that you can combine the sushi menu with the Mediterranean, making it a great place for large mixed groups to find something to suite every palate.
Food and drink:
There are two separate kitchens – a classic Mediterranean kitchen and a sushi bar. Both head chefs are experts in their craft, and have an amazing rapport, enabling the food from both kitchens to be served simultaneously.
Recommended dishes:
I love the sushi (all of it), especially the Funky Maki and Energy Rolls, but if you’re looking for something hearty, the ox steak cooked with foie from the Mediterranean kitchen is out of this world. The house speciality is actually egg and chips, which sounds strange but really is delicious and great as a light meal before dancing!
Ambience:
When you’re in the garden, it’s very easy to forget you’re also in a club… the atmosphere is always buzzing, the people are always dressed to the nines and it’s a very mixed crowd of all ages. You’d be surprised at how many people actually go to Pacha Restaurant and don’t go to the club after – there’s a very loyal brigade of locals and older clientele who swear by the quality.
Service:
In true Pacha style, only the best of the best are employed here, making it even more of a pleasure to dine here.
Location:
As the name suggests, the restaurant is part of the super club in Marina Botafoch, however it’s not actually inside the club – it’s attached to the side of the old finca, with an enclosed bamboo garden terrace that makes you think you could be in Japan.
Price advice:
Main meals are between 24 and 30 euros and sushi rolls are around 18 euros each. My top tip: the best value way to guarantee entry to the club is to book a table, as you’ll then automatically be granted access to the club for just the price of your meal… more than worth it.
