Expert review of Lennox Bistro
This is the kind of place you don't really want to tell people about, but then you feel guilty for keeping it to yourself! So here I am, sharing my little secret. As well as being one of the prettiest cafes in Dublin, Lennox Bistro is home to mouth-watering food at affordable prices, and it goes about its business very quietly indeed. The clientele are regulars who’ve been told by friends to check it out, and so it continues. Open early for business breakfasts, Sunday brunch here is renowned.
There is something for all palates, from French toast to poached eggs for breakfast or pasta, a club sandwich or a classic burger for lunch. Generous portions and quality ingredients make Lennox excellent value and you’ll often meet a queue outside the door for breakfast.
Try the butternut squash risotto, yummy yum. Or the great burgers and fish and chips. Eggs Benedict with mint hollandaise is fab also.
It's a quaint cafe in a quiet location, so the ambience is extremely relaxing. A hideaway.
It's friendly and informal.
It's in the serene Georgian quarter behind Portobello, in historic Dublin surroundings.
It's all excellent value with snacks from 3 euros.
