Expert review of Le Perroquet
‘The Parrot’ is a characterful café ideal for a quick snack during a busy day of sightseeing.
Specialises in gourmet pittas and salads; the pittas are quite small so you may want to order a salad as well to have on the side. There’s a good selection of beers to wash it all down too.
The interior is stunning: original Art-Nouveau stained glass and woodwork. It’s popular with young locals.
It’s hard to get a table during peak times, so try and head there a little earlier for lunch/dinner. The staff are a bit lazy sometimes.
In the fashionable Sablon district; a minute’s walk from the Grand Sablon square.
Pittas start at 6.10 euros; salads 13—14 euros.
