Best for Romance - Expert review of Vivaldi
Vivaldi enjoys a wonderful ambience, attentive staff and Mediterannean inspired dishes. Since it's a bit of a way out in Grunewald, I'd probably recommend it more for special occasions - the place to come for a special six-course romantic treat. You won't forget it for a while.
Vivaldi serves elegant Mediterranean-inspired French-German dishes and a selection of wine and spirits. You can choose between a four or six-course prix fixe menu or a limited a la carte menu. Recommended dishes include the scallop lasagne with white truffle oil and the roast suckling pig with truffled vegetables and lavender sauce, but be sure to look for the day’s suggestion.
Located in the Renaissance palace-style Schlosshotel im Grunewald, you might feel like royalty dining here. The restaurant features grand interiors, old-world charm, paneling and antique decorations. The white tables are faultlessly laid and covered with white tablecloths.
Very attentive and courteous staff that wait on you hand and foot.
The hotel is located in the exclusive Grunewald forest area.
Entrees are 27-30 euros; the four-course menu is 79 euros and six-course menu is 100 euros.
