Grill Royal's small but exquisite steak menu, excellent wine list and trendy ambience attracts everyone from well-heeled tourists to local and visiting celebs. Take a seat outside for great views over the Spree.
Food and drink:
Largely considered one of Berlin’s finest steakhouses, Grill Royal serves tender Argentine, Australian, German and French steaks with sides of rosemary potatoes and spinach, along with herbed veal chop and organic pork roast. A range of other elegant international dishes complete the menu; try the de Claire oysters from Marennes-Oléron to start. Knowledgeable waiters guide you through the varied list and vegetarians are looked after with dishes like the excellent ravioli.

Ambience:
The interior is sleek, spacious and comfortable with low ceilings, soft lighting and plush chairs. For some, this is a place to be seen - you’re likely to be dining amongst film stars, artists, dealers and politicians - and the atmosphere becomes more raucous as the night goes on. The outdoor terrace offers great views across the Spree.
