Michelin-starred cuisine in a trendy but laid-back venue.
FACIL is a consistently excellent place to eat. It serves good quality seafood and French cuisine in a stylish but relaxed environment. Everything you want from a Michelin-starred establishment.
Food and drink:
The menu of sophisticated French and regional haute cuisine at this Michelin-starred restaurant changes according to the season and discretion of chef Michael Kempf. You can dine à la carte or select a four or eight-course tasting menu. There's an emphasis on fresh fish - example dishes include Dover sole with oyster and cucumber salad and Atlantic turbot with fresh fennel and anchovy sauce - as well as inventive meat and poultry dishes such as black feather fowl with kohlrabi and dumplings, and grilled bison. Sommelier Felix Voges is very knowledgeable - and the bar serves a great martini.
Ambience:
The dining area is a rather swanky glass cube with a retractable roof that overlooks a garden on the fifth floor of The Mandala Hotel. The water features and pale earth tones of the garden create a relaxing "Zen" atmosphere.

Knowledgeable and attentive.

In the heart of Potsdamer Platz.
Price advice:
The four-course tasting menu is 85 euros and eight-course tasting menu is 140 euros. The lunchtime prix fixe menu is more affordable at 18 euros for one course, 28 euros for two courses and 39 euros for three courses.
