Flying to Lisbon

The city airport has two terminals. All international flights arrive or depart from Terminal 1, while Terminal 2 is for domestic connections.

Getting to and from the airport

Taxi: Taxis run from the stand outside the Arrivals hall. The journey takes 20-30 minutes to the city centre and should cost between 10-13 euros. Anything more than that and you’re being overcharged. Ensure all taxis use their metres to avoid scams. There is also a 1.60 euro charge for luggage. To pre-book a cab contact Lisbon Airport Taxis (+351 289 804 017).

Buses: The Aerobus 91 (3.35 euros one-way, 8am-8pm) departs every 20 minutes from outside Arrivals, takes 30 minutes and stops and picks up from Pombal, Avenida da Liberdade and Praca do Comerçio – all in the city centre. Public buses 43, 44 and 45 (1.35 euros one-way, 7am-9.30pm) depart from outside Arrivals, go to the city centre and take around 40 minutes.
