A small but stylish Marais bolthole with a sexy honeymoon suite.
Behind its traditional classic facade, this place is very suave, sleekly redone with warm colours, all mod-cons and just a hint of old beams.
Location:
On a busy, buzzy, ancient Marais thoroughfare, near the 3rd arrondissement town hall and food shops of rue de Bretagne. It's brilliantly placed for the district's fashion boutiques and art galleries.
Bedrooms:
With a colour scheme that changes according to the floor, the rooms are simple but appealing, with stylish dark wood and plain tones lifted by gorgeous exotic wallpapers, and all you need in the way of air con, ipod docks and WiFi. Bathrooms are fresh and shiny. Some of the upper street side rooms have a perspective all down rue des Archives to the towers of Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris in the distance. For a special occasion, the fifth-floor honeymoon suite (No. 505) is a deeply sexy purple den with windows on three sides and a jacuzzi.
