Cheap and cheerful digs in the heart of Palma’s old city.
This no-frills hostal is surprisingly big on architectural details and atmosphere such as the stone staircase and arches in the lobby. I like its simplicity and use it if I'm just passing through. It pretty much does what it says on the box: a clean, comfortable place to lay your head – no fuss, no muss. In a town with very few budget options, this is about as good as it gets.
Location:
On quietish Carrer C’an Brondo, it is well placed for exploring Palma's downtown area and all the sights.
Bedrooms:
The 10 rooms here are basic, some en suite, some with shared facilities. Linen and furniture are old fashioned but serviceable, and on the whole the rooms themselves are bright and airy and most importantly cleaned daily.
