Cheap Fun in the City Centre
Napoleon Hostel has a great location for budget accomodation in Moscow, which is often confined to the outskirts of the city. The hostel sleeps 47 in dormitory rooms, so if you are looking for something cheap but want some privacy this may not be the best option for you. The hostel's location is a major selling point, with lots of cheap and cheerful bars, cafes and restaurants in the nearby Kitai Gorod area and most of the major tourist attractions either a walk or a short metro journey away. It is not particularly convenient for accessing the city's airports or train stations, but once you have got to grips with the metro, you should be able to make you way around quite easily. The staff are young and friendly and can help you organize train tickets as well as process your registration.
Location:
The area surrounding the hostel is very pleasant and just North of the city centre. The hostel is very close to a metro station.
Bedrooms:
The rooms are clean and cheerful and good value for money. There is a six bed female dormitory as well as seven, eight and ten bed mixed dormitories. Bed linen and internet is free and if you need somewhere to store valuables you can use the hostel safe.

Public areas:
One of the hostel's strong points are the public areas, with the living room a nice place to hang out and meet other guests. There is a TV and DVD library, book exchange, board games and tourist information as well as a small bar selling beer.
Eating and drinking:
There is no restaurant but there is a kitchen with a microwave. Tea and coffee as well as beer are available in the hostel but if you want anything more substantial you will have to hit the town or go shopping.
Leisure facilities:
The living room is a nice place to relax and socialise.
