A Well Established Hostel in the City Centre
Godzillas is a great hostel and offers a wider variety of accomodation than many of the city's other budget options. The area is nice and the hostel is located inside a beautiful old building. Run by foreigners, staff have been well-trained and can help you register as well as book train tickets or tours.
Location:
A nice location in the city centre, the are is close to Tverskaya and a pleasant twenty minute walk to Red Square.
Bedrooms:
Godzillas has single rooms with double beds, twin rooms with two single beds and triples with three single beds. Cheaper accommodation is available in the six bed female dormitory and the four to ten bed mixed dormitories.

Public areas:
The lounge area is laid back and informal though not as boisterous as some of the city's other hostels.
Eating and drinking:
No restaurant but there are two kitchens.
Leisure facilities:
Communal areas are nice, but no extra services.
Service:
A strong point of the hostel, it is worth staying somewhere like this if you are coming to Moscow on a budget and do not speak confident Russian. Staff can help you book tickets and get around as well as deal with any problems with your documents.
