Friendly mid-size Madrid hotel in handy location.
There is a sense of calm at the Lusso Infantas, even though it is right in the centre of Madrid. Paintings by local artists decorate the ground floor, where there is also an attractive restaurant. This is a comfortable choice with pleasant decor and not over-designed.
Location:
Just off the Gran Vía in the trendy gay-friendly Chueca neighbourhood, with lots of bars, restaurants and shops.
Bedrooms:
The 40 rooms - including eight larger superior rooms – are decorated in a simple, modern style with dark wooden floors, plasma televisions, desks and free WiFi. Nearly all the large bathrooms have bathtubs as well as showers. 105 gives onto Calle Intantas and has a balcony. 102 gives onto the quieter Calle Colmenares. One superior room is adapted for people with disabilities.

Eating and drinking:
There is a pleasant café on the ground floor which serves sandwiches and snacks. The Ex Libris restaurant is open to non-guests and has received consistenly good reviews for its Mediterranean cuisine. Room service is available 24 hours.
