Modern seaside hotel with magnificent views across the water to Korcula old town.
This low-rise waterside hotel dates back to 1972 but was renovated in 2007 and upgraded to four-star. There are 94 rooms and suites, an outdoor pool, a small pebble beach and a wellness centre. The décor is a little dated but the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views of the old town make up for it.
Location:
It's just a 10-minute walk along the coast to Korcula’s medieval town walls, the ferry port and bus station.
Bedrooms:
The rooms and suites all have dark blue carpets, rusty orange curtains and cream bedspreads, plus air conditioning, mini-bar, safe and satellite-TV. The single and double rooms have either a garden view or sea view (well worth paying extra for) but no balcony. The spacious junior suites see the addition of a balcony, plus sofa-bed, making them good for families.

Public areas:
The main restaurant is slightly lacking in atmosphere but has a lovely sea-view terrace where guests can eat al fresco. The outdoor pool has a pool bar.
Eating and drinking:
Expect a passable buffet breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit, plus eggs and sausages. Some guests also opt for buffet dinner (many are on half-board), but I suggest you take breakfast only and explore the restaurants in Korcula’s romantic old town in the evening.
Leisure facilities:
Out front there’s a pool rimmed with sun beds, and below that a small pebble beach. The hotel also has a wellness centre, with indoor pool, gym and beauty treatments. Other sport facilities including tennis courts, bicycle hire, sailing and windsurfing are available at the Liburna and Park sister-hotels.
