Experience complete and utter countryside tranquility just five minutes from Ibiza town.
Can Jaume is the best of both worlds, just minutes away from all the action yet delivering all the beautiful scenery, peaceful ambience and escapism of a deluxe rural hotel. Perfect if you want easy access to all of Ibiza’s nightlife, then sleep it off by the quiet pool or with all the mod cons in your comfy room the next day.
Location:
Can Jaume is set in the little known area of Puig d’en Valls, a mere 10-minute drive from the airport, five minutes from Ibiza town and just a stone’s throw from Pacha and a short drive from Privilege, Amnesia and many beautiful beaches.
Bedrooms:
The hotel was originally an old dairy farm, refurbished and renovated about five years ago to the modern, country manor standards of today. The rooms and bathrooms correlate with this – country style décor and plush couches contrast with brand spanking new bathrooms to my delight because, despite the fact I love rustic hotels, I still want my bathroom to be spa-like when on holiday. All rooms have a terrace or porch and all the mod cons you can think of.

Public areas:
There’s a lovely big communal living area, which gave me the distinct feeling that I was staying in one giant villa. I felt really at home here. The walls are adorned with art by German artist Hermann Ueberholz and there’s a big fireplace that creates a cosy atmosphere in the cooler months.
Eating and drinking:
Breakfast is served from 8.30am to 11am, and initially I was a bit worried as there’s no official restaurant on-site (I do like a snack by the pool you see), however I was honestly overjoyed with the selection of cakes, fruit, snacks and tea and coffee on offer all day, all included within your room rate too.
Leisure facilities:
Lounging by the swimming pool here is how I liked to spend my mornings, with plenty of time spent alternating between laps and a relaxing soak in the Jacuzzi. Check out the sunbathing island in the centre of the pool - post clubbing bliss.
Service:
The staff seem a little scarce at times. However, once you manage to locate them nothing is too much trouble.

Most things are included within your rate. Extra beds can be arranged for 60 euros and singles will receive a 10 per cent discount. Be sure to ask for the airport transfer (at an additional cost) and choose between a limo, Jeep or Porsche Cayenne to arrive in style.
