Trendy Hvar Town has a fantastic selection of luxury hotels, but little in the mid-range or budget categories. If you’re not opting for a splurge, I suggest you try renting a private room or apartment at Villa Town Gate. The location is sensational, in the heart of the medieval old town, close to all the best bars and restaurants.

In a narrow stone alley one block back from the main square, in pedestrian-only Hvar Town. It is less than a 10-minute walk to all the main attractions, ferry port and bus station.
