The Eaton’s taken a step upmarket with a sizeable renovation that’s as trendy as it is techno.
Location:
Unmissable – at the junction of Gascoigne and Nathan roads, this is very much the epicentre of downtown Kowloon.
Bedrooms:
Out of a total of 465, there’s a choice of 10 different rooms and suites, from Superior to Wedding (the latter reserved for couples celebrating their nuptials within the hotel). All have broadband access. The City Club rooms’ wrap-around windows provide exceptional views. And it’s not just executives on the move who’ll appreciate the laptop docking station and other gizmos in the Biz Suites.

Public areas:
These have been transformed by the renovation. The traditional Reception desk in the fourth-floor lobby has given way to “welcome pods” and the entire area has been remodelled to allow easy access to the garden, lounge, internet point, and bar.
Eating and drinking:
There are six outlets in total – Yagura (Japanese) and Yat Tung Heen (Chinese) stand out.
Leisure facilities:
Ah, the bliss of sinking into the rooftop pool after a day’s sightseeing, shopping or similar. And the adjacent gym commands an excellent take on the city scenery.
