Expert review of Radisson Blu Edinburgh
The Radisson Blu Edinburgh is a modern building designed complete with turrets to fit in with it’s medievil surroundings and does so surprisingly well. Location is the main drive to stay here, as once you leave the somewhat remarkable surroundings of The Royal Mile outside, though contemporary and stylish, it lacks soul.
Itchycoo bar is somewhere to go for a drink before or after you head out for the evening but you are surrounded by so many great places to see as well as sample in terms of food and drink use this as a base and you can’t lose.
If you like pubs then have a look at [node:
Many of the main attractions of the city are literally on your doorstep.
The defining street of the whole City is The Royal Mile and Radisson Bluis in the middle of it. If you exit the front door and go left to the top of The Royal Mile you will find Edinburgh Castle and panoramic views over the city. If you go right when you emerge from the hotel you will find The Scottish Parliament, Dynamic Earth and Holyrood Palace and Park which is the Royal families residence when they are in Scotland’s Capital. No complaints about the neighbours then. Well not from you.

The Restaurant does a vast breakfast buffet which they boast offers over 120 dishes. That should keep you going. From 6.30am – 10.30am Mon – Fri 07.00 – 11.30 Sat & Sun
Itchycoo which is a stylish wee bar but never busy enough sadly. They do offer coffee and Danish pastries from 9am and bigger menu for brunch/lunch 11.30am – 22.30
Dinner 17.30 – 21.30
Glasses of wine quite dear at £6.20.
Pace Spa – 6.30am til 10pm every night. Pool. Sauna and gym and treatment rooms. Small and bijou. I wouldn't stay here for the spa there are better in town but for location this is hard to beat.
Malcolm Rann is the Manager who really cares.
His staff are trained to be on the ball, effcient, informed and friendly. If you ever have a problem Malcolm will sort it out.
