Beautiful hotel set in 55 acres just 6 miles from Edinburgh City Centre.
This stunning Victoria house was built as a country retreat in 1840 which is exactly the feeling you get pulling up to the house from the long drive. Though only a few miles from Edinburgh the peace and tranquility that surround this historic house are wonderful.
Comfortable traditional feeling rooms with lots of character downstairs, with a few eating and drinking choices, a spa, and modern well thought out bedrooms make Norton house a great mix. With it's location is so close to the airport they do a lot of corporate business and weddings but don't let this put you off. it's a great hotel offering peace and quiet only a few miles from the centre of town.

If you want to be close to the airport and mother nature at the same time Norton House is the place for you.
Bedrooms:
83 bedrooms including 36 executive rooms.
Taupe is the background colour which is highlighteed with rich russets, reds, white linen, plaid curtains and leather or wood bedheads. Dark wood for desks, and leather upholstered chairs. Grown up and sophitsicated.

Public areas:
Conservatory and Lounge are there to be utilised by all. Not bursting with original character they are nonetheless very comfortable, warm and welcoming.
Eating and drinking:
The Brasserie is the informal eating option with light sandstone floor, red leather banquette seating, cream walls, splashes of art and vast windows overlooking the grounds. Minimalist and chic.
Ushers is an award winning fine dining option. Only open Wednesday to Saturday. Brown leather dining chairs with arms, a russet coloured carpet and table linen. A special occasion place.
Conservatory is open 10am - 10pm for sandwiches, coffess and free wifi as you slump in one of the many couches,
Leisure facilities:
The spa is lovely. Comprising 18 metre swimming pool, well equipped gym, sauna. Spa offers endells treatments for men, women and pregnant ladies. They will put together day packages for you and the girls if that's what you would like. Elemis and Espa products.
Service:
Helpful, personal, uniformed. Not stuffy.
