For those seeking sanctuary in semi-rural surrounds - this is it.
A member of the Last Word family of seriously luxurious boutique guest houses, The Constantia was once a private home and it still has a warm and welcoming feel to it. It's tucked away off one of Constantia's popular thoroughfares and with its classic interior decoration and sprawling garden it feels like a smart home-from-home. I last visited in early spring and I could just imagine bagging myself a lounger and spending the day sunning myself by the pool while breathing in the scents of fresh garden flowers.
Location:
In Constantia, a semi-rural suburb around twenty minutes' drive to the south of the city. This guest house is convenient for visitors keen to explore the Constantia Valley and its varied offerings.
Bedrooms:
The suites at this property are very spacious and dressed in a variety of soft fabrics and finishes and easy-on-the-eye colours. The bathrooms are open plan to the bedroom and some feature quite beautiful hand-finished mosaics. Some of the suites have their own splash-pools and each has a terrace. Privacy is paramount.
