A reliably classy five-star hotel from the Ritz-Carlton chain.
Berlin's Ritz Carlton features a glamorous spa, outstanding service, grandiose rooms and gourmet food. In other words, everything you need. There's a price to be paid for all this luxury of course, but in my opinion this one is definitely worth the splash.
Location:
Just a few steps from Potsdamer Platz, minutes from shops, museums and nightlife and a five-minute walk from Brandenburger Tor (Gate).
Bedrooms:
The hotel’s 303 guest rooms (including 30 suites) are classic in style with modern touches. All rooms offer views of either the Potsdamer Platz or Tiergarten Park and are decorated in calm tones of beige, browns and gold. Amenities include bedside control panels, heated bathroom floors, inlaid cherry wood closets and armoires and original watercolours on the walls.

Public areas:
The skyscraper building brings to mind the Art Deco skyscrapers of New York City and interiors are designed to reflect old world Europe, featuring chandeliers and a sweeping marble staircase.
Eating and drinking:
Brasserie Desbrosses serves authentic French cuisine in very large portions – the marinated lobster with mango and mint is recommended - and is decorated with original fixtures salvaged from a late 19th century French brasserie. The Curtain Club lounge bar evokes the feel of an old gentleman’s club and serves classic cocktails, light dishes and a large selection of cigars, while the Tea Lounge is an elegant spot for Afternoon Tea.
Leisure facilities:
The glamorous La Prairie Spa offers a range of signature La Prairie treatments and has a large indoor swimming pool.
Service:
