If a small and intimate space and your own on-call concierge do it for you, then this swanky boutique hotel is where you'll want to be. With its pretty spectacular Atlantic views, sophisticated and elegant interiors and thoughtful areas for kicking back and relaxing, this is a space you'll find easy to call home and owner Olaf and his switched on team makes sure this is exactly how you do feel. It's situated in the smart Atlantic Seaboard suburb of Bantry Bay and many of the suites have suitably lovely views of the sparkling waters. What I like is the immediate sense of 'I'm on holiday' even if you're in town for business. The city is just ten minutes' drive away.

In Bantry Bay, one of the city's smartest mountainside suburbs, looking out across the Atlantic Ocean.
Bedrooms:
There are seven bedrooms - ranging from two standard rooms to the swanky O Suites that include full complimentary minibar and a Jacuzzi (one has its own sun deck). Not all rooms have sea views (for the best views ask for rooms one and five, both have hot tubs too). Interiors are plush and rooms are decorated in a muted palette.
